The shells feature a stunning Lacquered Charcoal Oyster finish complemented by the 100 percent maple wood hoops and the polished chrome shell hardware. The maple shells offer brilliant warm singing mid and high frequencies that maple is known for with a gentle dry vintage decay to finish off the tone due to rounded outer edges and Tamas Sound Focus Rings on the inside of the shells. The 100 percent maple wooden hoops ensure a short sustain and a beautiful decay making the kit perfect for use on stage or in the studio.
