The Sontronics SATURN 2 Large-Diaphragm Condenser Microphone builds on its predecessors design incorporating nine polar patterns in total maximum the recording potential of the microphone. The SATURN 2 Condenser Microphone builds on the success of the original with its unique tonal character and pristine natural sound. The new and revamped design includes the originals five polar patterns as well as four additional patterns that you can unlock using the rotary pattern knob. The patterns are comprised of regular ominidirectional cardioid figure-of-eight subcardioid and hypercardioid. The new rotary pattern control allows you to blend between these patterns creating your own unique tonality and recording character. The digitally-controlled parameters ensure maximum precision when dialing in levels and patterns. The circuit design retains the same sound as the original capturing the classic Saturn-style tonal character that made the original so sought after.
