The Pearl 16″ Ocean Drum is constructed with a solid wood shell along with a goat skin head clear mylar head and not forgetting those important micro steel balls. The use of the goat skin head generates a controlled sound while the clear synthetic head offers strong projection. Players can achieve a full host of tones from smoothing waves to crashing waves perfect for adding special effects to any application. Finally the ocean drum is finished in a satin black lacquer.
