The MXR Custom Shop Il Torino Overdrive is a highly tweakable pedal designed by Italian boutique pedal and amp maker Carlo Sorasio a guest engineer for MXRs Custom Shop. This great sounding overdrive features MOSFET technology to recreate the gain structure of classic tube preamps and allows for touch responsive saturation and natural sounding compression. A 3-band EQ section allows for fine sound shaping while a Boost/OD switch toggles between Boost mode – a cleaner sound with just the right amount of compression and sustain – and OD Mode – a more aggressive cranked tube amp sound.
