Upgrade your pedalboard. The IK Multimedia Z-Tone Buffer Boost adds Z-TONE tone shaping to guitarists pedalboards and stage rigs. The pedal allows players to adjust the input impedance of their preamp pedal before hitting the rest of their pedalboard. This is achieved whilst offering premium sound and an extended frequency range. Z-TONE Buffer Boost offers true bypass on the pedal & amp output while both balanced & unbalanced outputs let bass or acoustic players connect directly to mixers and PAs. A ground lift switch is also included to eliminate buzz and hum. A buffered signal preserves the tone of the instrument when using pedalboards and long cables. The boost control can then be used on top of this to add volume and drive when needed. Z-TONE Buffer Boost runs off either a 9V battery or standard 9V pedal power supply (sold separately).
