The Ibanez SRF700 Fretless Bass in Brown Burst Flat combines the tones and performance of an upright bass with a standard bass guitar giving players a unique blend of sonic possibilities suitable for all playing styles. The fretless panga panga fingerboard not only provides an incredibly smooth performance but also allows players to deliver double-bass style vibrato and microtonal intonations with ease. Its custom-made bridge is designed to accommodate the AeroSilk piezo system infusing the Ibanez FR with the airy characteristics of an acoustic upright bass. A set of Bartolini MK-1 pickups are also added for times when a normal bass tone is needed offering a wide frequency range with excellent definition and accuracy. Constructed from a mahogany body and 5-piece maple/walnut neck the Ibanez SRF700 delivers a variety of stunning tonal options with sweet warm characteristics and plenty of bite to suit a wide range of musical styles.
