The Ibanez AVD9CE Artwood Vintage Natural High Gloss is a vintage-inspired electro-acoustic dreadnought guitar with Ibanezs Thermo Aged tonewoods providing enhanced volume and frequency-response across the entire spectrum. The solid sitka spruce top with spruce X bracing gives a bright and resonant tone which is enhanced by the Thermo Aging process providing you with even more nuance and response to your playing dynamics. The AVD9CEs body is crafted in the traditional dreadnought body shape – a hugely popular design for its deep low-end scooped mids and shimmering trebles making it ideal for strummers and fingerpickers alike. This model has a cutaway giving easier access to the top frets for high-range solos and capo playing. Other thoughtful design touches help to enhance the AVDs tone and playability including a compensated bone saddle mahogany neck soft-V neck shape and a satin finish on the neck for a smooth playing-feel. While the guitar has a sweet and balanced acoustic tone a Fishman Sonicore pickup and Ibanez AEQ-SP2 preamp allows you to recreate that same acoustic guitar tone on stage whether youre plugged into an amp or directly into a PA system.
