RANE, the established innovator in the DJ industry, noted for their standard-setting solutions coupled with unequalled reliability and customer service, today announced the immediate access to Scratch Banks for the RANE SEVENTY, SEVENTY-TWO and SEVENTY-TWO MKII mixers with Serato’s new version of Serato DJ Pro.
With this update, users can now access up to 32 different samples or tracks at the push of a button for instant scratching or mixing.
In order for this to work, users will need to update to the latest Serato from their downloads page. On the mixer side they will need to update to FW 1.6 if there are SEVENTY-TWO or SEVENTY-TWO MKII users (A single FW update works for both mixers), if they are SEVENTY users then they won’t need to update their firmware.
To access Scratch Bank on a RANE SEVENTY-TWO or SEVENTY-TWO MKII, simply press the Sampler pad mode button 3 times. On the RANE SEVENTY, you only need to press this button twice.
Now there is even more reason for the DJ community to adopt the RANE Mixer Series!
