Born for the stage. Made using traditional handcrafting techniques the Yamaha Live Custom Hybrid Oak Shell Pack is an instrument to be treasured for generations. A perfect blend of power and articulation is achieved by a hybrid shell of oak and phenolic sheets. An optimal bass drum sound is guaranteed straight out of the box owing to the bass enhancement weights which attenuate low-mid frequencies and focus its sound. The shells are finished using strict traditional Japanese methods accentuating the natural beauty of the oak grain. The result – a shell pack that is as visually striking as it is powerful in sound.
