Professional quality sound always. The IK Multimedia Z-Tone DI offers a range of control for advanced tone shaping and routing potential. The DI can be used for running long cables across stage or to capture DI tracks in the studio without a loss in quality. This is achieved whilst offering 114 dB(A) dynamic range and an extended 3 Hz – 30 kHz (+/- 1 dB) frequency response. A number of controls allow the user to adapt the sound to a range of genres and playing styles. These include a pickup selector (passive/active) and a switchable preamp circuit. This ensures the user can capture ultra-transparent audio or utilise the Class A JFET input buffer to add warmth to the input signal. The tone can then be shaped using the variable impedance control to dial in an impedance ranging from 1 MOhm to 2.2 kOhms. This varies the sound from a tighter precise sound at maximum impedance to a thicker and bold sound. The Z-Tone DI features can be accessed using the various routing options. Choose between a balanced XLR output unbalanced 1/4 inch output and an unaffected Hi-Z Link out to route your signal.
