The Epiphone MB-100 Banjo is a simple and sonically pleasing 5 string banjo ideal for beginners and travelling musicians. The open back design provides a mellow sound that is softer than a resonator banjo making it ideal for clawhammer playing styles and traditional folk genres. The MB-100s body is made from mahogany which is a rich tonewood that offers plenty of sonic warmth. The neck is also made from mahogany and is paired with a Pau Ferro fingerboard producing excellent clarity with balanced intonation across the entire neck. With a Remo head the MB-100 Banjo offers a crisp and clear tone and delivers individual note distinction.
