D'Angelico Premier DC

D’Angelico has launched a new limited edition version of its premium semi-hollow electric, the Deluxe DC.

The guitar’s double-cut body is constructed from laminated maple, and sports five-ply cream binding. Set into this is a three-piece maple neck, topped with a 22-fret Ebony fingerboard. D’Angelico says that the combination of the 16-inch wide body and the solid ebony fretboard makes for “untempered” sustain.

The bridge is a tune-o-matic style, while some wobble is provided by a D’Angelico shield tremolo. The guitar’s scale length, as per the style, is 24.75-inch.

Especially for this limited run are two of Seymour Duncan’s Seth Lover A4 humbuckers, both of which can be split thanks to push-pull tone controls.

Aesthetically, the guitar comes three colours – with only 50 pieces being made available of each worldwide. They are Matte Charcoal, Matte Walnut and Matte Surf Green.

You can hear the guitar in action with D’Angelico’s demo below. It lists for $1,999.99 – find out more over at dangelicoguitars.com.
